║ About the Position
We are looking for a Dietary Aide to provide assistance with preparing meals and general kitchen help. The goal is to provide excellent food service by following all instructions and standards. A Dietary Aide must be capable of following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards to ensure good sanitary conditions in the cooking and dining areas. They must be competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach.
║ Shift:
- 5 days per week
- 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Holiday rotation required
║ Responsibilities:
- Set up food preparation areas with attention to cleanliness and order
- Occassionally prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
- Clean up and collect plates, glasses, etc.
- Discard leftovers and take out the garbage
- Clean food stations and wash dishes, containers, and utensils
- Stock ingredients
- Help maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and appliances
║ Skills:
- Experience in customer service is a plus
- Experience in food service is a plus
- General knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
- Able to prepare meals according to instructions
- Competent in operating cookware, bakeware, and cooking appliances
- Friendly with good communication skills
- Good physical condition and stamina
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $13.05 per hour
