Job Description
Software / Controls Engineer to join our client's Automation team. This position involves programming and managing control systems for industrial equipment based on customer specifications and schematic designs. The engineer will work closely with other engineers and production teams to ensure projects are completed to high standards and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with engineers to install and interface with control systems.
- Ensure that electrical and pneumatic devices meet customer approval criteria.
- Calibrate, test, and troubleshoot control circuits and components.
- Develop and document new control systems from concept to installation.
- Address control issues and devise solutions to improve system performance.
- Assist in planning and strategy for automation projects.
- Define project requirements, including specifications and cost estimates.
- Maintain control over existing source code for systems.
- Create technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical support to technicians during equipment commissioning.
- Participate in various projects and initiatives as needed.
