Job Description
Excellent Corporate Engineering opportunity to join a global chemical leader as Senior Process Engineer. Strategic and Technical responsibility for leading CI projects, optimizing production processes, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance for multiple plant sites. This role requires maintaining the plant’s controls systems, including the DCS control system. Travel required up to 50%.
Responsibilities:
Conduct technical evaluations and implement process optimization strategies to improve safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve plant design, operating procedures, and DCS configurations.
Prepare and review technical documents such as AFEs, MOCs, and incident reports, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Serve as the main point of contact for technical issues, working with accounting, operations, and maintenance teams.
Maintain and update Process Safety Information, including overseeing MOC records and ensuring action items are completed.
Manage process computers and software systems by ensuring maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
Oversee the N2O emissions project and ensure completion of regulatory reporting requirements, including emissions data and safety documentation.
Assist with data reconciliation for production and raw material consumption, while supporting after-hours operations as needed.
Qualifications
BS Chemical Engineering with 4 years of experience in a Lead or Corporate Process Engineering role supporting multiple chemical process plant sites.
10 years of experience in a chemical processing plant.
Proficiency with Pi, Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with Foxboro DCS systems.
Process/ Project management experience, with projects $1-3MM.
