The assistant coach's primary role is to assist the head coach in the development and management of the program and its students. The assistant coach will support the creation and implementation of training regimens, the organization of practice sessions, preparations for game day competitions, and the supervision of student athletes.

The assistant coach will support the creation and implementation of training regimens, the organization of practice sessions, preparations for game day competitions, and the supervision of student athletes.
Essential Duties
Essential Duties:
- Assist in the management of the soccer program.
- Assists in preparing players for interscholastic competition through practice, teaching fundamental skills, and imparting knowledge of the rules.
- Assists in reviewing eligibility forms and submitting them to the Student Activities Director (AD).
- Assists in collecting all health physical forms.
- Monitors student academic progress.
- Assists in the cleaning, storage, and proper care of team equipment.
- Assist in the requisitions for supplies, uniforms, and necessary equipment through the Student Activities Director.
- Fosters good school-community relations by keeping the community informed and engaged with the athletic program.
- Assists in organizing pre-season meetings.
- Helps prepare daily practice schedules and conducts practice sessions.
- Attends VHSL clinics as required.
- Follows county financial policies regarding the collection and receipting of funds.
