Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking of stock, and optimizing supply chain processes. This position requires strong analytical skills and experience in inventory management, as well as familiarity with supply chain principles.
Responsibilities
- Maintains an accurate running inventory.
- Restocks supplies and inventory in warehouse and retail space as needed.
- Reports discrepancies of inventory to the Inventory Specialist in order to update information and provide proper pricing on retail side.
- Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy.
- Records, reports, and returns defective items.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
- Issue or distribute materials, products, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
- Handles complaints related to shipments; notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts upon completion of proper training.
- Deliver weekly orders to customers utilizing company provided vehicle.
- Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and retail areas.
- Greets and interacts with customers.
- Collects payment using the store point of sale system.
- Assists in weekly cleaning duties such as dusting, organizing shelves, emptying garbage receptacles per management direction.
- Answer incoming phone calls within 3 rings and distributes to the proper department.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management or inventory management roles.
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes is preferred.
- Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Delivery experience preferred
- Class B license preferred (Or willing to obtain)

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
