Warehouse Material Handler/Driver

Henry A. Petter Supply Company was founded in 1890 and is now in its fourth generation of family ownership! Our corporate office and main distribution center are located in Paducah, Ky. In order to better serve our customers, we also have nine branch locations across seven states. Petter Supply is a full line Industrial Distributor including Marine supplies, MRO supplies, material handling, and supplies for various industrial and manufacturing industries. The Warehouse Material Handler/Driver Role:

The position is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties including picking and pulling inventoried stock keeping units (SKUs) as well as put away for material received into the warehouse. This position also operates a box truck, pick=up truck, and/or van to deliver and pick up products.

What You'll Do:

• Picking, packing, and shipping of appropriate materials based on order, ensuring picked parts are quality correct and match correct unit of measure, quantity, and description.
• Unloading and loading of materials and/or stacking materials for delivery using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure that material is properly secured and within weight limits.
• Obtain customer signature on ticket once delivery has been completed.
• Pick up local purchase orders as well as customer returns and validate that project matches request for credit.
• Perform vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections; comply with all DOT standards and regulations.

You must have:

• Three years' of verifiable driving experience of similar type vehicles.
• One to four years experience in Industrial Distribution is highly desired.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience using computers as the position will use email and our Company Sales and Distribution Management System.
