Certification Details BLS PALS ACLS License / Certificate Verification Job Details TRAVELER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE AND A BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN FIRST WEEK OF ASSIGNMENT. THIS MUST BE PASSED IN ORDER TO WORK ON OUR TELEMETRY / MED SURG UNIT. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations : Geriatric, Medical / Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry. Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit. Job Requirements Required for clinical positions only (AHA or ARC acceptable) Primary Source Verification of professional license, and / or certification, as required for the position ran within 30 days of start updated upon expiration. Within 30 days of start. 10 Panel Drug Screen- Amphetamines, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Cocaine, Methadone, Methamphetamine, Opiates, Oxycodone, Phencyclidine, and Propoxyphene. THC Not required to be tested. Instant accepted if results not available to start. Complete within 12 months - does not expire Declination accepted. 2 vaccines or positive titer. If low or equivocal 1 Booster or declination accepted. Completed prior to start. Acceptable masks include : Moldex 1510, 3M 1860s, 3M 1860, Moldex 1513, 3M 1870 Respirator. Proof of negative test completed in the past year : TSPOT or QuantiFERON IGG. If a history of past positive TB test, candidate is required to provide a copy of test, a clear chest x-ray within 5 years of start along with the questionnaire that's within 30 days of start. Physician Statement within the last 12 months. Unexpired government issued photo ID. Ran within 30 days of start.
