What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Registration Registar position at Henry Community Health?
Responsibilities
- Works under general supervision in interviewing incoming patients or representatives to obtain and record necessary information for registration
- Distributes copies to appropriate departments
- Obtains signed statements and consents
- Ensures precertification has been obtained for outpatient services when applicable
- Provides relief to switchboard operators and lobby managers
Qualifications
- Proficient typing skills
- Above average spelling ability, good communication skills and use of good judgement
- Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience is preferred
