What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Sitter position at Henry Community Health?
Responsibilities
- Works under close supervision by assisting in the care of patients who require constant non-licensed supervision.
- May also assist the nursing assistant with bathing, dressing, feeding, transporting, and providing for the basic needs of the patient.
- Monitors patient activities and reports changes to the RN or LPN.
- May assist in changing bed linen and maintains assigned patient’s room in an orderly fashion.
Qualifications
- Work requires the ability to read well enough to follow specific and detailed nursing procedures, the ability to write legibly, and communicate effectively with a variety of people.
- Previous experience as a nursing assistant is preferred.
