School Bus Monitor
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to assist our school bus drivers in maintaining discipline while the bus is in operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain proper records and documentation.
- Assist student loading, unloading and seating arrangements as required.
- Understand and relate to children with special needs.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Requirements:
- A minimum of middle school age (16 years old) to be eligible for the role.
- Pass an initial physical and tuberculosis test as required by Kentucky laws and regulations.
- Complete annual training as required in 702 KAR 5:150 (2).
