Description
Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Imaging student technologists work directly under a registered radiologic technologist while on duty. Must meet JSCC criteria as second year student qualifying for imaging student position.
Qualifications
Education:
High school graduate; AS degree preferred.
Student enrolled in an approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
Registered or Registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Current BCLS certification.
