Description
The paramedic assumes responsibility and accountability of the procedures of duties performed for a specified group of patients within a designated time period in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the Tennessee Emergency Medical Services Board and Henry County Medical Center policies under the direction and supervision of an RN or MD. The ages of the patients normally served are neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a paramedic
- Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology and medications
- Ability to stay calm and make the right decisions in adverse conditions
- Adaptable with a great deal of stamina
- Excellent working knowledge of medical equipment and devices
- Integrity and compassion towards human pain
- Valid driver’s license
- Certified CPR Instructor
- High school diploma; Licensed Paramedic is a must
