What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Golf Coach position at Henry County Public Schools?
Provide guidance and leadership in the development of a high school golf program. The coach will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all wrestling equipment. The golf coach will be expected to travel with the team. The golf coach will be responsible for the leadership and development of the players, as well as working with local golf course management.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be age 21 or older
- Successful completion of the NFHS Concussion in Sports course accessible at www.nfhs.org prior to beginning coaching duties with HCPS (there is no fee associated with this course)
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administrators
- Ability to motivate students
- Ability to be dependable and punctual
- Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required
