Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty : Labor & Delivery

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7PM - 7AM, Every other weekend required

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery

License : Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing

Certifications :

  • Advanced EFM Certification
  • NRP Certification

Must-Have : Advanced EFM certification must be listed on resume for consideration

Job Description :

  • Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
  • Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.
  • Effectively communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions.
  • Possess clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department.
  • Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

    • Education :

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Preferred : Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
