Henry Ford College presents an opportunity for a part-time Assistant Wrestling Coach. The Assistant Wrestling Coach provides support to the Head Coach and helps to create and sustain a competitive intercollegiate program at Henry Ford College (HFC). The Assistant Coach should be available for weekday team practices and wrestling events held on weekends during November through February. HFC operates its athletic program with integrity and in full compliance with institutional, conference and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) guidelines. HFC sponsors seven sports at the NJCAA Division II level and competes in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Eastern Conference. Current sport teams are: baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s golf, softball, women’s volleyball, and men’s wrestling.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Bachelor’s degree.Coaching or playing experience at the high school or club level.Valid Michigan driving license required.Coaching experience at the intercollegiate level.Playing experience at the intercollegiate level.Knowledge of NJCAA rules and regulations relating to recruitment and eligibility.
