Position Description Summary
Henry Ford College presents an opportunity for a Project Manager for Institutional Strategy.
Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy & Human Resources, this position manages a diverse portfolio of projects within the Strategy & Human Resources division and performs highly specialized administrative work calling for independent judgment with outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. This position is also responsible for managing all aspects of the federal Perkins V grant program, including annual grant application, budgeting, project management, required reporting, ensuring compliance with federal Perkins legislation and relevant state guidelines, and maintaining the College's associated State of Michigan Program Inventory.

- Overall Experience : Three years of relevant experience in an educational / academic or related setting.
- Grants Experience : Federal, state, or private grant management experience, including experience writing grants, interpreting and adhering to grant guidelines / regulations, as well as budget planning / monitoring.
- Education : Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Teamwork : Encourages and facilitates cooperation, trust, and group identity; fosters commitment and team spirit; works with others to achieve goals.
- Accountability : Holds self and others accountable for measurable high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results. Determines objectives and sets priorities. Accepts responsibility for mistakes. Complies with established control systems and rules.
