GENERAL SUMMARY
- Performs electroneurodiagnostic testing.
- Performs set up and preparation of equipment/supplies for ordered test.
- Reviews patient's history obtains any necessary information or documentation and provides education to patient about procedures.
- Monitors and documents patient's condition at all times and reports any adverse reactions.
- Operates and maintains a variety of equipment to obtain diagnostic data, which may include EEG (Electroencephalography), EP (Evoked Potential), and PSG (Polysomnography) equipment.
- Recognizes and corrects for artifacts.

Scores/graphs, documents and reports results of diagnostic procedures.
Education/Experience Requirements
Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or
job transfer date.
• Credentialed as a Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (R. EEG T.) or board eligible by
the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) standards.
• Candidate will be required to pass ABRET Registry board exams within 2 years of hire date.
Education:
• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or associate's degree, or technical degree required.
