GENERAL SUMMARY:
- Plan, coordinate, provide, and evaluate adult learning educational activities.
- Develop, implement and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
- Collaborate with managers and staff to assess the learning needs of staff and new hires.
- Serve as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.

Maintain credentials required for certification.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
One or more of the following required:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certified Instructor specializing in Advanced Cardio Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. -
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing preferred.
EDUCATION
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or associate's degree, or technical degree required.
- NRP Instructor Certification needed.
- No additional preferences.
