About the Role:
As a Paramedic in our Mobile Occupational Health department, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to employees at various worksites. Your expertise will be essential in assessing and treating patients in a variety of situations.
This position requires travel to off-site company locations within the Metro-Detroit area. Long-distance travel , within Michigan, is a possibility with advanced notice.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct basic medical assessments.
- Administer vaccinations and other preventive health services.
- Perform drug screenings and other clinical procedures as needed.
- Conduct hearing tests, respiratory fit testing, tb testing, etc. Training will be provided.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Completion of a Paramedic program.
- Valid State of Michigan Paramedic license in good standing.
- Current BLS and ACLS .
- Proven experience in pre-hospital emergency care.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation .
Flexible scheduling options. Mostly day shift and seldom weekends.
