What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Interventional Radiology Full Time Detro position at Henry Ford Health System?
This is a day position with no weekends. The Specialty/Invasive Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
The APP will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families.
Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care.
Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.
Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience.
Diagnostic Radiology Experience

- Nurse Practitioner degree -OR- Bachelor's Degree or Completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Requires Michigan state licensure and continued certification by the National. Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). OR current Michigan state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current ACLS/BLS as required. Current ATLS/PALS provider status as required.
