What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician - Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine position at Henry Ford Health System?
Hospital-based Neonatology practice is seeking to add a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine physician due to growth. The NICU is a level III-B by the AAP classification. Annual admissions of 400-500 infants with ~10% transfers. Very low birth weight infants account for ~25% of admissions. Average inpatient census is 30 with a range of 22-45. Provide all types of surgeries including PDA ligation but excluding CHD and ECMO. In addition to the neonatologists, the NICU is staffed by pediatric residents and neonatal nurse practitioners.

- Clinical duties, weekdays and weekends on-call, monthly assignments to different acuity services are shared throughout the year
Candidates must be BC/BE in specialty and meet the requirements for medical licensure to practice in Michigan. Experience with iNO, Total Body Cooling, and HFOV is required.
