What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Grant/Contract Mgt III- Full time - Pulmonary Medicine-Detroit Campus position at Henry Ford Health System?
GENERAL SUMMARY :
- Under limited supervision, comprehensively manages complex grant portfolios for a functional group or team of Principal Investigators (PIs).
- This role involves planning, budgeting, tracking project activities, and ensuring timely communication to stakeholders.
- Utilizing project management tools and techniques, this role monitors financial aspects of multiple research grants, potential subcontracts or consultant agreements, and staffing data.
- This role requires extensive financial forecasting, problem solving, and communication skills.
- In addition, this role will provide training to support staff regarding grant financial and institutional procedures and may be responsible for coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- This position will support 3 departments ( Pulmonary, Rheumatology & Allergy)
- This position will be 100% on site during initial training period and then a hybrid model once fully trained to support all three departments.
