General Summary: RN Coordinator Clinical Programs, Cardiology
Full time 40 hours/week, M-F Dayshift with some flexibility with hours. Location: Southfield, Novi and Potentially Howell
Coordinates nursing program activities and resources within clinical specialty or department. Responsibilities: Develops and oversees program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures. Develops and documents care plans and therapy programs.| Oversees and ensures plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensures necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.| May supervise and direct nursing staff. | Coordinates, assembles, and maintains documentation as required.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross preferred.
Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Additional preferred qualifications
- Prior clinical research experience - preferred
- Minimum 2 years RN experience - required
- Will be required to completed CITI certification within 1 month of hire
- Proficient in Microsoft Word platform (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook)
- Must be able to work independently and multi-task
