At Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Campground Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, buildings, and facilities of our 325-acre property.
About the Job
This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity. As a Maintenance Technician/Resident Caretaker, you will be expected to work a 35-hour week on weekdays, with additional hours on weekends and evenings. You will also be required to obtain OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid Certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the grounds, buildings, and facilities of our 325-acre property
- Assist with maintenance tasks such as mowing, painting, repairing vehicles and equipment, and performing carpentry work
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure a safe working environment
- Conduct rounds to check the property for signs of trespassers, vandalism, and ensure doors and gates are locked
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a caretaker, maintenance technician, or similar capacity
- Valid driver's license
- OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid Certification
- Working knowledge of general maintenance and janitorial services
- Technical experience in carpentry, plumbing, vehicle and machinery operation, or framing and roofing
