Job Summary : The Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on HMNH's policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.Licensure and Certification :
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS provider card
- Current ACLS provider card required on all telemetry capable units
- Certified in field of specialty (PCCN) preferred
- MST4 - Telemetry course requiredEducation :
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferredExperience :
- Minimum 1 year acute hospital experience

- Frequent reaching above shoulder level and overhead.
- Frequent forward bending, twisting, squatting and kneeling; occasional climbing.
- Occasional repositioning and transferring patients weighing up to 200 pounds between bed, chair, and gurney.
- Occasional lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional / intermittent pushing of gurneys, wheelchairs, bed and other medical equipment over tiled and carpeted surfaces.
