The Henry Metropolitan Housing Authority is seeking a qualified and motivated Executive Director to lead the administration of low-income housing programs for the Henry Metropolitan Housing Authority, the Williams Metropolitan Housing Authority and the Bowling Green Housing Agency.
The Executive Director will direct and supervise all administrative, financial, programmatic, and general management activities of the organization; establish and execute housing policy, and ensure the financial sustainability and viability of the agency.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader passionate about affordable housing and community development. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in housing administration and financial management while fostering strong relationships with government agencies, nonprofits, applicants and participants.
Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business or related field, and three years of supervisory and/or managerial experience in directing administrative functions or housing programs. Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of HUD regulations and financial management preferred. Experience with housing challenges is preferred. Other combinations of education, experience, or training may be considered in substitution for the minimum requirements.
