Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various maintenance tasks. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to overall productivity and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, utilizing tools such as an Ohmmeter for diagnostics.
- Fabricate parts as needed to replace or repair malfunctioning equipment.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in repairs and installations.
- Conduct stick welding tasks for structural repairs and modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes.
- Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Proficiency in logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks.
- Experience with stick welding techniques and equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments.
