Job Description
Forklift Service Technician – Jacksonville, FL
A skilled Service Technician is required to maintain and repair forklifts and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other industrial equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative service to minimize downtime
- Communicate with customers and service managers to ensure efficient repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the service truck
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in forklift repair or a related field
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills (hydraulics, internal combustion engines, electrical systems)
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and take ownership of work
- Solid communication and customer service skills
