Jewelry/Pawn Associate.

Henry’s Jewelry & Awards is searching for a full-time associate.

We are a growing business serving the Lawrence community and cities around for over 30 years. Our business does; sell, pawn, buy and repair jewelry (gold, silver, etc.) Also, the other side of the business is trophy, award, medal, sublimation, etc. for all kind the events.

• Basic overview of day:
• Quick staff meeting to discuss projects of the day and week.
• Quality control for Jewelry repairs
• Respond to emails.
• Attend customers to take orders.
• Order supplies needed.
• Communicate with the customer by email, calls, and text messages.
• Clean all the areas of the shop.
• Take out the trash.

Responsibility and Duties:

• Interacts with customers with respect and professionalism.
• Answers and response to phone calls, emails & texts.
• Visual merchandising, both online and in-store
• Keep an updated database of customers for our guarantee program.
• Send reminders to customers.
• Call customers and suppliers
• Works under pressure
• Keeps the store neat and organized.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Identifies problem areas and address them accordingly.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bilingual – English and Spanish written and spoken (It is required speak and write Spanish)
• Math Skills
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
• Punctuality and reliability are mandatory!!!
• Available 36-40 hours a week and overtime when necessary. (Being able to work on Saturdays is a must)
• Self-direct
• At least 30 WPM typing

Although the position is primarily for the Jewelry side of the business, part of the duties is to help on the trophy side when needed.

Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
