Tax Manager Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CPA with at least 10 years of public accounting experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax strategy development and staff management. A CPA license is required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 990 tax returns.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively working to attract new business.
- Possess knowledge of sales, use, and payroll tax filings.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies independently.
- Consult with clients to guide their financial decisions.
- Effectively manage time and projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Review the work of others and mentor coworkers to support their professional development.
Qualifications:
- CPA license or EA required.
- Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in public accounting.
- Proven ability to resolve complex issues independently.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions.
- Experience in developing tax planning strategies.
Work Schedule:
- Standard office hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Additional hours may be required during busy seasons.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Minimum salary: $110,000 per year, plus bonus structure.
