Job Summary :
As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily living needs of residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort. You will work closely with residents, families, and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) : Provide hands-on support with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor Resident Well-being : Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental status to the nursing staff.
- Meal Assistance : Help residents with eating, drinking, and ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
- Housekeeping Support : Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Companionship : Engage residents in meaningful conversations, activities, and recreational programs to promote mental and emotional health.
- Safety Measures : Ensure residents' safety by following proper protocols and responding promptly to call lights and emergencies.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs and reports.
