Electronics Technician / PCBA Machine Operator

Are you proficient in operating a stencil printing machine and a pick-and-place machine and performing manual SMT placement independently? Are you willing to learn and operate selective soldering machines and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment?

If you have experience with PCB assembly, including operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting PCB assembly machines, you would be an excellent addition to our small PCB assembly team.

As an Electronics Technician/ PCBA Machine Operator at Henway, you will receive the necessary tools, training, and autonomy to:

• Assemble and test printed circuit boards in a high-mix, low- to mid-volume setting using machines and manual assembly.
• Hand solder surface mount and through-hole components following J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.
• Rework and inspect complex assemblies, including fine-pitch components.
• Program and operate equipment such as pick-and-place machines, selective soldering machines, and AOI systems.
• Perform conformal coating and assemble cable harnesses.
• Receiving and kitting
• Packaging and shipping
• Keep equipment and workstation neat, clean, and orderly
• Comply with ISO 9001 certification.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Experience in electronics assembly and testing, including soldering, reworking, and inspection.
• Experience in operating and fixing CNC-style machinery.
• Familiarity with J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and relevant standards.
• Proficiency in utilizing diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and signal generators.

You will be the ideal candidate if:

• You have experience working with fine-pitch components, QFN rework, or similar tasks.
• You can independently program and operate machines, including pick-and-place equipment, stencil printers, and CNC selective soldering systems.
• You possess skills in inspecting printed circuit boards for solder quality, defects, and alignment.
• You know conformal coating, cable harness assembly, and other relevant PCBA competencies.

• Do you have or have you ever had J-STD-001 or an IPC certificate? If not, do you have experience with these standards?
