The Navy Modernization, Planning and Sustainability Division, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) 09, is responsible for providing the Fleet and modernization stakeholders with modernization policies; Ship Change Document (SCD) processes and approvals; Navy Data Environment (NDE) and user-training; Fleet Risk Assessments; Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, and Intelligence (C5I) Baselines; Information Technology (IT) business tools; metrics performance; and customized reports. The team will support all areas of NAVSEA 09 Modernization Support the updates and adherence to the Navy Modernization Program Modernization and Operations Manual (NMP-MOM).
Responsibilities
- Assist with policy effectiveness analysis for program improvement.
- Research and compile data in support of program execution.
- Gather and process complex data to support decision-making and offer insight.
- Coordinate and support meetings for NAVSEA 09 to include drafting agendas, planning invite lists, recording meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
- Develop high-level briefings and make associated changes based on customer input.
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Active Secret clearance
- 1 or more years of project analyst experience
- Familiarity with MS suite; particularly MS PowerPoint
- Superior organizational skills
- Familiarity with U.S. surface Navy organization
- Effectively document meeting minutes and action items
