HEPCO Inc. is seeking a Seasoned Electrical Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of electrical and I&C engineers and designers at a nuclear plant in the Detroit / Chicago / Toledo area.What You'll Be Doing : As an Electrical Engineering Supervisor, you will : Lead and oversee a team of United Electrical and Instrumentation and Controls engineers and designers. Provide continuous, on-site support for a nuclear plant, ensuring excellence in engineering processes and standards. Supervise and approve Engineering Change Packages, including : Equipment Specifications : Transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS / DC systems, communication systems, digital and process instrumentation, and control system components. Calculations and Analysis : Short circuit, voltage drop, coordination, and arc flash studies using OTI-ETAP software. Electrical / I&C Design Documentation : Single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, raceway drawings, lighting / grounding plans, and cable schedules. Review proposals, schedules, and budgets; monitor and report on performance; and provide technical leadership. Coordinate activities with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams across multiple projects.Relocation benefits are available on a case-by-case basis.What We're Looking For : Education : BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited 4-year university. Experience : 8 years in electrical and I&C systems design for power plants or heavy industrial facilities. 5 years in electrical and I&C system design for nuclear plants in North America. Familiarity with nuclear standard design processes and relevant codes, standards, and NRC regulations. Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams). Expertise in preparing wiring diagrams and schematics. Additional Requirements : U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain unescorted access to U.S. nuclear power plants. Familiarity with IEEE, EPRI, ISA, IAEA Codes, and Standards. Professional Engineering (PE) License (preferred). What We Offer : Competitive salary : $145,000 - $165,000 annually, based on experience.
