What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expeditor (On-site) position at HEPCO, Inc.?
Our client is seeking an Expeditor to join their team. In this role, you will work under the general direction of the Purchasing Supervisor/Manager and follow the instructions of upper-level Procurement Assistants when guidelines are not established. You will be responsible for the following:
- Assign requisitions to buyers and reassign them as necessary in Oracle.
- Expedite existing purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Handle telephone and email requests for general inquiries and provide routine instructions.
- Maintain and update files and system comments as required.
Skills Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of specialized instruction in generalized office procedures and at least six (6) months of related experience; OR a High School diploma plus two (2) years of related experience.
Skills Preferred:
- Experience with Oracle.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook/Teams).
Experience Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent plus one (1) year of specialized instruction in office procedures and at least six (6) months of related experience; OR a High School diploma plus two (2) years of related experience.
