Our client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Tech Editor II to join their team. In this role, you will review and mark up technical documentation using state-of-the-art publishing software technology. The documentation you’ll be working with includes product descriptions, detailed functional descriptions, operating procedures, fault isolation, maintenance and repair procedures, illustrated parts breakdowns, miscellaneous reports, proposals, marketing literature, and other technical documents related to company products.
You will ensure compliance with customer requirements, government specifications, engineering standards, and language usage principles. You’ll also conduct independent (peer) reviews of developed technical content using approved style guides and editing checklists, communicating areas of concern to writers, and documenting comments for resolution by the production team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review, edit, and mark up technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customer, government, and engineering standards.
- Conduct peer reviews and provide feedback to writers based on approved guidelines.
- Provide editing comments and markup for text and illustrations.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve document comments.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation tasks while adhering to quality standards.

Pay Range : $39.00 - $43.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
