HEPCO, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Specialist to oversee and implement process safety programs at the Adrian, MI site, ensuring compliance with WACKER Process Safety Standards and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities : As a Process Safety Specialist, you will : Ensure ongoing compliance with WACKER Process Safety Standards, Process Safety Management (PSM), and Risk Management Plan (RMP) regulations. Act as a subject matter expert in process safety and risk management planning, advising on regulatory and industrial best practices. Provide detailed analysis of facility operating, engineering, maintenance, and planning processes to assess PSM and RMP impacts. Collaborate with facility and corporate leadership, consultants, and auditors. Conduct hands-on engagement through "walking the plant," partnering with personnel, contractors, and visitors to enhance education on PSM and RMP standards. Interface with multiple departments and align with global and regional safety initiatives. Support implementation of solutions to mitigate process safety risks. Report directly to the Director of Process Safety Management and Mechanical Integrity with primary responsibility for the process safety program at the Adrian, MI site.Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field. At least 5 years of professional experience with PSM and RMP in petrochemical or chemical plants. Proven experience in implementing and managing PSM programs. Expertise in identifying and mitigating process safety risks. Strong project management and cost estimation skills. Demonstrated leadership and audit experience in PSM roles within the chemical or petrochemical industry.What We Offer : Competitive Compensation : 85k-105k Based on experience.
