Hephzibah Children's Association is a child welfare agency with a variety of programs including residential group homes, after school and summer day care, family based services including foster care and intact family services.
We are seeking a full time Caseworker in our Intact Family Services Program to provide services to children and families. The responsibilities include conducting home visits, assessing, planning and implementing recommended services and preparing written assessments, reports, service plans, and assisting clients in obtaining concrete services.
Requirements include:
Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field required
Previous Intact experience preferred
Previous experience in a child welfare agency
Child Welfare Licensure preferred
Valid IL driver’s license and good driving record
Willingness to work flexible hours and be available for emergencies
Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client population
