What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Overnight Residential Counselor position at Hephzibah Children's Association?
We are hiring for a Part Time overnight Counselor to provide physically and emotionally nurturing care for the young children (ages 4-11) in a residential program with a structured environment that provides consistency and predictability in a community based setting.
Shifts are overnights , Sunday and Monday, 9 pm-7 am.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Experience working with special needs children
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid IL driver's license and must qualify for DCFS Child Care Drivers clearance
- Ability to provide interventions when needed
- Experience with Medicaid documentation a plus
