At the High Risk Pregnancy Center in Nevada, we are devoted to protecting the health of mothers-to-be and their unborn babies. We are currently seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our comprehensive care team. They will work alongside a team of highly trained and experienced MFM physicians.
Duties:
- Offer ongoing, compassionate support to patients and their families throughout pregnancy.
- Serve as primary educational resource for the patient and family, including comprehensive diabetes education.
- Utilize advanced practice knowledge and skill to systematically collect and evaluate health assessment data and to manage a caseload of patients.
- Consistently demonstrate effective communication skills and work to eliminate communication barriers.
- Consistently apply new knowledge relevant to clinical practice.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
- AIUM Accreditation for Ultrasound, fetal echocardiography
- American Diabetes Association recognized Diabetes Education Program (First in state of Nevada for MFM)
- Master’s degree in nursing with completion of an APRN program.
- Active APRN license in Nevada, or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and a drive to excel in a clinical environment.
