Your Role And Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport and position goods within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns to supervisors.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory, ensuring accurate documentation and labeling of materials.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a secure and organized workspace.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse or loading dock.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles.
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies during operations.
- Keep accurate records of inventory movements and report discrepancies.
- Assist in organizing and storing materials in the appropriate locations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Forklift operator certification, or equivalent experience, that demonstrates your capability to operate a forklift safely and effectively.
- High school Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts as needed.
