Herald Christian Health Center is actively seeking a California Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. We seek a friendly candidate who works well with other members of the dental team.
Herald Christian Health Center (HCHC) is a non-profit community clinic and a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in San Diego and San Gabriel Valley, California. The mission of HCHC is to provide quality and affordable holistic healthcare to the low income, the uninsured and the medically indigent among the population of San Diego and San Gabriel Valley. HCHC patient population is comprised primarily of limited English proficient immigrants from China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Taiwan. We have over 200 employees in all locations.
I. Organization Expectation

Education/ License/ Certification
1. Graduation from an American Dental Association (ADA) approved school of dental hygiene
2. Licensed by the State of California
3. Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
4. Must have a current X-Ray License. If he/she does not, then they must sign an agreement that they will obtain the license within three (3) months of employment
5. Possess a current CPR Certification offered by an instructor approved by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association, or any other course approved by the board as equivalent and that provides the student the opportunity to engage in hands-on simulated clinical scenarios
Skills and Specifications
1. Must be fluent in Bilingual English and Cantonese/Mandarin/Spanish.
2. Basic Computer Skills
3. Ability to multi-task
4. Must be a good team player
5. Able to work flexible hours including weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $93,600.00 - $109,820.00 per year
