Job Summary
Are you ready to play a vital role in our dynamic team as a Picker / Packer? In this exciting position, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, accurately picking orders and packing them with precision to ensure they reach our customers in perfect condition. But that’s not all! You’ll also assist with restocking, cycle counting, and even training fellow Pickers, all while contributing to the smooth and efficient flow of our organization. Requirements : Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for manually packing pulled orders, according to procedure
- Picking orders by following packing list and invoices
- Responsible for inputting customer order information into company shipping software.
- Verifies invoice and picking slip details
- Determines the proper size box and inserts promotional literature and packing materials for each order
- Assembles cartons, boxes and inserts
- Seals and labels packages for processing
- Conduct inventory cycle counts are required
- Supports other departments as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Working Conditions
Candidates must have strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, area, circumference, volume, and percentages, as well as apply basic algebra and geometry concepts. The role demands physical stamina, requiring frequent walking, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods, with the ability to lift up to 49 lbs. The work environment can be noisy and may require personal protective equipment (PPE), with occasional exposure to outdoor weather and slippery surfaces. Additionally, candidates should possess strong reasoning abilities to solve practical problems and navigate situations with limited standardization, as well as interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business SOPs, technical procedures, safety rules, and computer operating manuals is essential. Strong interpersonal skills are also crucial, as candidates should be able to organize and communicate thoughts effectively while maintaining composure and professionalism in all interactions.
