We are currently recruiting for a full time Supervisor (Internal Audit-Banking) to join our Risk Management team to work in our Warrendale, PA office (located in the Pittsburgh suburbs) where you will receive structured onboarding, generous pay, a dedicated mentor, and gain valuable insight.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of client relationships and consulting projects
- Participate in regulatory compliance consulting of our financial institutions, including audits, monitoring reviews, risk assessments, model validations, and training
- Review and detail test bank controls and compliance programs based upon FFIEC, SOX, and banking industry standards
- Perform Bank Secrecy Act examinations and model validations in accordance with FFIEC and regulatory requirements
- Identify, develop, and document compliance issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed
- Communicate or assist in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and verbal presentations to management and the Audit or Compliance Committees of our financial institutions
- Prepare work papers that are consistent with IIA standards, as well as, established firm standards
- Assist with special projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Management
- 4 years of Internal Audit or Compliance experience or related financial services (banking) experience
- Proficient in regulatory compliance, including lending regulations
- Bank Secrecy Act experience a plus
- Applicable certifications, a plus (CRCM, CAMS, CFSA, CRMA, CFIRS, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of financial institutions’ control and regulatory functions
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid strategic thinking approach with risk awareness and appropriate judgment
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong project management skills with capability of multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to travel regionally (day) 90% with (overnight travel 15 - 20%) per annum
