We are currently recruiting for a full time Supervisor in our Business Enterprise Services group to work in our Warrendale, PA office (located in the Pittsburgh suburbs) where you will receive structured onboarding, generous pay, a dedicated mentor, and gain valuable insight.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain comprehensive knowledge of clients' business and tax circumstances in order to develop clear, innovative, individualized plans and approaches to improve clients’ business operations and related tax situations
- Research and develop year-round tax planning strategies
- Proactively interact with clients to gather information, resolve problems, make recommendations
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or related degree
- CPA, or working towards certification
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in public accounting
- Preparation and review experience with state income, franchise tax returns and financial statements
- Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis
- Proficiency in Quick Books, and strong bookkeeping knowledge and experience
- Successful at fostering strong relations built on trust and credibility
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks on a timely basis
- Adept at meeting challenging client requirements and deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail focused and driven to achieve high standards
- Ability to travel to client and Herbein office locations as needed/scheduled
