- Interviewing loan applicants and collecting and analyzing financial data in order to determine the general creditworthiness of the prospect and the merits of the specific loan request.
- Negotiating, establishing terms, and approving loans within authority.
- Collecting and analyzing information that reflects the current creditworthiness of customers and the current merits of existing loans. Information may be obtained by direct inspection of the applicant’s business and / or collateral, review of interim financial reports, personal interview, etc.
- Monitoring loan repayment activities and taking necessary action to collect from past due accounts.
- Developing new business by contacting prospects and customers. Also, cross-sells Bank services.
- Developing materials for and making loan presentations to the Executive Committee where required.
- Participating in community affairs to increase the Bank’s visibility.

We are looking for a Commercial Loan Officer . So, if your Commercial Loan experience falls within 3 years to 5 years this might be a great role for you. Let’s talk.
You should hold a bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business, or a related field, or the equivalent in experience in Commercial Loans, Credit, or Loan Underwriting. 4 years of Commercial Loan development experience, along with a thorough understanding of Credit Analysis and Underwriting. An excellent ability to manage time-sensitive deadlines and inquiries. Have the ability to multi-task and work effectively with co-workers is also a must in this role. Must be able to manage your time and communicate as well as present yourself in a positive manner that represents the bank.
