What You'll Do
- Shape the Future: Develop and execute an HR strategy that aligns with and advances the bank's ambitious growth and expansion plans, including the launch of mobile branches and a new brick-and-mortar location.
- Build and Inspire: Lead, mentor, and grow an operationally excellent HR department that executes flawlessly, continuously improves, and are ambassadors for the service-first brand.
- Develop Culture of Trust: Enhance the organization's HR brand by fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Drive Impact: Develop leaders and managers through ongoing coaching and support, ensuring that classroom principles are applied to create high-performing teams and a positive workplace experience.
- Ensure Compliance and Excellence: Oversee all HR functions, from compliance with federal bank regulations to managing compensation and benefits.

Who We’re Looking For
- Strategic and Hands-On: You’re not just a strategist—you must be able to operationalize ideas and make them a reality.
- Tech-Savvy and Agile: Proficient with Excel and HRIS platforms (such as Paycor), you’re ready to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and manage with data & metrics.
- Relationship Builder: You excel at building trust and partnerships across the organization, from the C-suite to branch staff.
- Experienced and Confident: Minimum of 7 years in an HR leadership role, with 3 years as an HR Director. Banking and federal contractor experience preferred.
Location and Flexibility
- On-Site Presence, with Flexibility: While the role is primarily on-site, flexibility is available as needed.
