The Senior Manager will join a multi-billion dollar manufacturing company in a role focused on optimizing distribution operations and developing efficiencies, relating to processes, systems, and people. This role will manage a team of 5, develop and maintain distribution processes, lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives, and develop distribution operating plans. Candidates should have 5 years of continuous improvement/operational excellence experience, in a distribution environment.
Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement & Distribution Optimization
- Manage and mentor a team of 5 employees across shipping, production, inventory, and logistics
- Develop and maintain distribution operating procedures, covering storage, picking, packing, shipping, and replenishment
- Lead projects pertaining to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence objectives, with the goal of enhancing metrics related to safety, quality, service, and cost targets
- Lead management board reviews to analyze/present KPIs and CI strategy
- Implement distribution operations plans and implement methods to eliminate bottlenecks, delays, and cost leaks
- Partner with internal business leaders across distribution, continuous improvement, logistics, and safety
Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement & Distribution Optimization
- Bachelors degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics
- 5 years of continuous improvement/operational excellence in distribution environment
- Experience with warehousing technologies and automation
- Supervisory experience is a plus
- Ability to influence leadership and manage projects from start to finish
Compensation will range to $125,000 8% annual bonus
Salary : $115,000 - $125,000
