Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines, conveyor systems, and supporting equipment.
- Complete and document all required forms accurately.
- Maintain continuity between maintenance tasks by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Monitor and correct situations activating the HACCP alarming control system.
- Manage equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels, anticipating needed items, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.
- Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
- Adjust functional parts of equipment using hand tools, measuring devices, levels, and straightedges.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, establishing personal networks, and more.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
