Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fabricator at HERBSTAR INDUSTRIES, located in Newark, DE. The Fabricator will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures and equipment according to blueprints and technical drawings. Day-to-day tasks include cutting, shaping, and welding metal components, inspecting completed products for defects, and ensuring that all safety and quality standards are met. The role also involves working with a variety of hand and power tools, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in welding, metal cutting, and shaping techniques
• Experience in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for fabrication
• Knowledge of safety standards and quality control processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform fabrication tasks
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fabrication or welding is beneficial
